Vasaloppstrippeln – three Vasaloppet in one year

90 kilometres is an achievement; how about doing it twice more in the same year? Vasaloppstrippeln, the Vasaloppet trifecta, is a challenge where participants complete three 90-kilometre Vasaloppet races during one calendar year.

Anyone can do a Vasaloppet – I do three

To complete a Vasaloppet trifecta you need to ski, bike and run 90 kilometres in forefathers’ tracks, all in the same year. On skis that means Vasaloppet or Öppet Spår, on bike you complete Cykelvasan 90 or Cykelvasan Öppet Spår, and on foot you need to run, amble or walk your way through Ultravasan 90. Nattvasan is not part of Vasaloppstrippeln since it has two-person teams and helping one another is allowed.
