Since the race is freestyle there will be a groomed skate area to the left and two classic ski tracks to the right along the whole course. It should be enjoyable for everyone to make their way towards Mora, and it’s therefore important to show consideration towards your fellow participants.
For security reasons there is a time restriction at the Evertsberg checkpoint; a time limit after which you cannot pass. The checkpoint must be left 10 minutes after the time limit has expired. If you arrive too late at a checkpoint you must abandon the race. Bus transport to Mora will then be arranged. In extreme weather conditions the race directors have the right to change the time limit.
The total skiing time is set to a maximum of 12 hours. The finish in Mora closes at 08:00. There will be a cut-off time in Evertsberg at 02.00.
Service along the track
During Nattvasan there will only be one official checkpoint; in Evertsberg after 45 km. Here we will serve pancakes, drink and energy in various forms. Gluten-free Vasaloppet buns are available in limited numbers. At the checkpoint we also offer grip wax services as well as minor equipment repairs. There is medical staff at the checkpoint and the start. The rest of the course is staffed by mobile medical teams.
At checkpoints Mångsbodarna, Oxberg, Hökberg and Eldris there will be water and sports drink available for you to fill your own containers with (self-service).

Abandoning the race
If you break off your race, you must seek out a break-off bus in Smågan, Mångsbodarna, Risberg, Evertsberg, Oxberg, Hökberg or Eldris. They will take your data chip, report your decision and arrange transport to Mora. Safety and medical services have the right to take a participant out of the race if there are grounds to do so.
