Nattvasan is a couples race where each team consists of two participants. The team skis together for security reasons; the two participants should be close enough to keep an eye on each other at all times. The distance between them at the finish line must be no greater than 20 seconds. Both participants must complete the race in order for the team to get a valid end time. The race is freestyle which means you can choose between classic skiing or skate. The team shall finish with the same skis they started with. It is allowed to trade skis within the team. Nattvasan is an exercise race where no winner is crowned.
