Vasaloppet is the world’s oldest, longest and biggest cross-country ski race. Since the start in 1922, hundreds of thousands of skiers have tackled the 90 kilometres from Sälen to Mora.
How the race works
We help you from Sälen to Mora - this is how it works.
When you've registered there are some things that are especially important to know.
When the race starts you have to be ready. Will you be in your start group on time? Keeping track of your number bib, chip and clothes?
The journey itself is what matters. And there are some things worth knowing about your journey to Mora. What will be served at our checkpoints, what are the cut-off times and what happens if you are forced to abandon the race?
The feeling of finally seeing the church tower in Mora and then passing through the finish line portal must be experienced. You can then deposit your skis and head off for a well-deserved shower and meal. Here is how it works!
