What’s in the food and drink you get at the controls?

Food and drink at our control checkpoints:

Ekströms Blueberry Soup: Sugar, potato starch, malt dextrin, blueberry, acid (citric acid), antioxidant (E300). Ready made soup contains 3.5 % blueberry.

Knorr Vegetable Bouillon: Salt, malt dextrin, vegetables 12 % (onions, leeks, carrots), yeast extract, vegetable fat, sugar, spices, flavouring. Salt content in the bouillon 0.9%.

Vasaloppet Buns: Wheat flour, water, syrup, vegetable fat, yeast, wheat gluten, emulsifiers (E471, E472e), salt, cardamom, flour treatment agent (ascorbic acid and barley malt). Glaze: water, milk protein. Can contain traces of almond and apricot kernels.

Gluten free Vasaloppet Buns (Available in limited numbers): Wheat starch, flour, milk powder, cream cheese (skimmed milk, lactic culture, rennet, cream), yeast, eggs, sugar, margarine (rapeseed oil, palm oil, coconut oil, emulsifier E471), syrup, cardamom, salt, baking soda (E575, E500), thickeners (E412, E464), flavouring, iron, vitamins (B1, B2, B6, niacin, A, D). Glaze: Casein (milk protein), acidity regulator (E450 4%, E500), lactose.
Note: 
Vasaloppet buns are baked on a production line where we also make cinnamon buns and vanilla rolls. A risk assessment has shown that we cannot 100% guarantee that all traces of the cinnamon filling and vanilla cream have actually disappeared from the raising area and oven conveyor belt. To avoid the any sickness risk we will in the future specify that Vasaloppet buns can contain traces of milk, almonds and apricot kernels. Since we have already baked a good deal and labelled them “without trace of” we wish to inform you that buns can contain traces of milk, almonds and apricot kernels.
