Vasaloppet is an inexhaustible source of information and inspiration. The race is well-known world wide. A never ending flow of news, of human fate and fortune, startling statistics, invaluable tips and, sometimes, totally useless information, trickles steadily down from the world’s largest ski competition, and all its associated races and activities. All this is built on the basic idea that skiing is fun, that health and well-being is important, and that a certain competitiveness gives life a bit of a gilt-edge! The three events CykelVasan, VasaStafetten and StavgångsVasan, which together make up Vasaloppet’s Summer Week and which all take place in Vasalopps Arena, this year attracted 12,522 registered entries. This is an increase of all of 50 percent compared with 2010. Read more

CykelVasan has very quickly become Sweden’s biggest mountainbike race. Entries for the 90 km race have now reached the ceiling of 6,000 registered participants and no further entries can be accepted.
