Running fest with ten sections from Sälen to Mora.

Count on big running festivities when hundreds of teams – associations, companies, families and groups of friends – share the classic stretch from Sälen to Mora. Vasastafetten is a cross-country race for both elite and recreational runners. The sections are ranging between 4.5 and 15 kilometres.

While the regular races are held on location, from Sälen to Mora, from Friday, August 8, to Saturday, August 16, you can participate in a race at any location around the world – in the digital Vasaloppet Arena.

Record numbers completed Vasaloppstrippeln 2024 – see results by region

A total of 538 participants, 279 men and 259 women, successfully completed Vasaloppstrippeln this year. This challenge involves completing a ski race during Vasaloppet's Winter Week, as well as a cycling race and a running race during Vasaloppet's Summer Week – over distances of 90, 45, or 30 km. Additionally, a record number of women, 88 in total, completed Vasaloppstrippeln 90. Since Ultravasan started in 2014, a total of 3,316 participants have completed Vasaloppstrippeln. Here, we present this year's names, facts, and statistics.
