Influence your start position

In Tjejvasan, there are two competition classes: senior and junior, as well as a joint exercise class. To register for the competition class, you need a result from Vasaloppet 30 or Tjejvasan that is no more than two years old. You can also submit results from other ski races to seed yourself into the competition class; read more about this on the Seeding page.

Competition
The competition class is based on seeding, using results from previous races. When registering, you log in and collect your information using Vasa ID, email or text message. Depending on your ski history, you will be assigned start group 1B or 2.

If you don’t have seeding results, or have skied races other than Vasaloppet, you should first register for the exercise class. Then, contact customer service for help with rebooking to the competition class.

Exercise
In the exercise class, you can choose a start group and start time when registering. Start groups 3 and 4 require seeding. For those groups you need to log in using Vasa ID, email or text message. If you have skied races other than Vasaloppet, contact customer service for help with seeding to start group 3 or 4.

Read more about this on the Seeding page.
