Cycle Vasaloppet, but without competing!  Do you want to bike the entire Vasaloppet but without the hassle of crowds and record hunters? Cykelvasan Öppet Spår is the same as Cykelvasan 90 but without pronounced competitive aspects. The start is in Sälen and you’ll bike across about 89 km of forest road or gravel and 7 km of asphalt before reaching the Mora finish line.

The race is a real challenge, so come well prepared, stop at the checkpoints, and remember that you are only competing against yourself.

Rules

The race is sanctioned by Svenska Cykelförbundet (SCF, the Swedish Cycling Federation), and run in accordance with SCF’s regulations. Read the rules in their entirety at SCF’s website.

You must throw litter:

  • in the bins at the Vasaloppet checkpoints.
  • in the marked littering zones between each Vasaloppet checkpoint.
  • where you as a participant know that a team leader or associate will pick up what you throw.
