Influence your start position
In Vasaloppet you can affect which group you start in by skiing a so called seeding race. After showing your mettle in such a race you will be placed in an appropriate start group. Under the heading Seeding, you can read more details about how our seeding works.
Gift card
You can buy a gift card for a start position in one of our races. Choose between winter and summer – ski, bike and run. It is not possible to buy gift cards for fully booked races.
Alterations on My pages
- Change your registration
On My pages you can change some registration information. Choose the race you want to alter under My races and click Edit. You can modify your address, club affiliation, email and phone number, and get Folksam Motionsloppsförsäkring Bas insurance. You can also alter your estimated finishing time (in certain races). You can change your contact information under My account > My profile. You can change your address, email and phone number. To change your name you need to contact our customer service at +46-250-392 00 or via email at info@vasaloppet.se. - Sell your start position

On Wednesday, February 28, 2024 at midnight it will no longer be possible to make alterations on My pages at vasaloppet.se. Alterations can be made on location at our competition offices in Mora and Sälen from Thursday, February 29, 2024.
Payment
We only accept individual registration. Payment can be completed via Swish, card, invoice (requiring a Swedish personal identity number) or instalments. You will be registered when we have received your registration fee.
Receipt and start certificate
Your participant confirmation, which will be delivered via email, is your receipt. Vasaloppsföreningen Sälen-Mora is a non-profit organization so there is no VAT taxation on the registration fee. A start certificate will be sent out via email a few weeks before the race.
Start certificate and a receipt of your payment can be downloaded via My pages. Log in, choose My races and click the plus sign to the right of the race. Under Download you’ll find files available for download.
Competition classes
All participants in Vasaloppet, and competition class participants in Tjejvasan must be members of a Swedish ski club registered with the Swedish Ski Association. For participants in Vasaloppet’s other races we recommend club membership since it provides insurance coverage for training and competition. Participation is at your own risk.
International participants represent their countries or their ski clubs – if they are members of a Swedish ski club registered with the Swedish Ski Association.
Fully booked race
Were you unable to register for a race that is now fully booked? There is always the possibility of buying a start position from someone else. On the page Buy and sell a start position you can find all the information you need.
