    Vasaloppet 2024, the hundred race, is now fully booked with 15 800 participants. In totalt nearly 30,000 participants have already registered for one of the Winter Week 2024 races.

    Welcome to Cykelvasan, August 11–12, 2023

    Vasaloppet started the Cykelvasan mountain bike race in 2009 and it quickly grew into the largest in the Nordics. Now it's your turn to participate in the Vasaloppet of Swedish cycling. This summer we're offering five different races to choose from, here in the beautiful Vasaloppet Arena in Dalarna. Choose the distance that suits you best: 32, 45 or 94 km. (Come and meet us at Scandinavia's largest bicycle fair. On March 25-26, the Copenhagen Bike Show will be held in the heart of Copenhagen. You will find us in booth number 61.)

    Emil Persson and Emilie Fleten won Vasaloppet 2023

    After ten Norwegian male victories in Vasaloppet, the 99th race finally saw a Swedish win again with Emil Persson crossing the finish line just ahead of Norwegian Andreas Nygaard and Kasper Stadaas. The women's class had a Norwegian winner with Emilie Fleten taking her very first Ski Classics victory. Second place was Silje Öyre Slind and third was Ida Dahl. Start places for the 100th Vasaloppet in 2024 were released at vasaloppet.se when the first skier passed Mångsbodarna.

    Facts, statistics, news and trivia ahead of Vasaloppet 2023

    On Sunday, March 5 at 08:00 in Sälen it's time for the start of the 99th Vasaloppet. Vasaloppet 2023 is fully booked, which means 15,800 registered participants. Millions of TV viewers around the world will follow the race. New for this year, start places for the historic 100th Vasaloppet 2024 will become available at vasaloppet.se on Sunday when the first Vasaloppet skier passes the Mångsbodarna checkpoint. Here are all the conditions for this year's edition of the world's largest cross-country ski race.

    Ida Dahl won Tjejvasan 2023

    It was a home win in Tjejvasan 2023, the new Ski Classics Challengers event. Ida Dahl from IFK Mora SK/Team Engcon won a photo finish ahead of Norwegian Magni Smedås, skiing for Team Eksjöhus. Emilie Fleten, of Norway/Team Ramudden, came third in her very first Tjejvasan. Evelina Crusell, Team Eksjöhus, won the junior class.

    Preparing for the 35th Tjejvasan on Saturday, February 25, 2023

    Tjejvasan, the world's largest ski race only for women, has counted a total of 193,077 finishes over the years. So far, 4,880 participants have registered for this year's race, which will be the 35th of its kind. Tjejvasan now has competition classes for both seniors (D21) and juniors (D17–20) as well as, of course, a large exercise class – and for those who want to participate, it's possible to register right up until the start. SVT will broadcast Tjejvasan live for the twelfth year in a row and we already know that we will have a new elite winner this year. The victor also gets 50 extra Ski Classics points as Tjejvasan is a Challenger race this year. Here we will present all the conditions ahead of Tjejvasan 2023.

    Register for Vasaloppet's Winter Week 2024 with an early bird discount up until March 19

    The ski fest and celebrations in forefathers' tracks continue next year! Registration for Vasaloppet's Winter Week 2024 opens as early as Saturday, February 25. Those who want to be one step ahead can register no later than March 19 to get a 20 percent discount on the registration fee for any 2024 ski race (excluding the 100th Vasaloppet on Sunday, March 3, 2024).
