Over 50 wonderful activities in Sälen and Mora during Vasaloppet's Summer Week 2023, welcome!

”We have made an effort to enhance the event programme this year to create an even more festive atmosphere during Vasaloppet’s Summer Week. Whether you are a participant, spectator, or companion, we hope to have something that appeals to and inspires you. Furthermore, most activities are free of charge,” says Camilla Sandy Swarén, Press Manager at Vasaloppet.

Activities will take place at various locations in Sälen. Some will be held at the Vasaloppet start, but the majority will be at the exhibition area in Lindvallen. Here, for example, you’ll find Sweden’s coolest bike show and trick school with MTB Freestyle, as well as a bike mechanics clinic for women with Vasaloppet women’s ambassador Afaf Radhison. In Mora, activities will be concentrated in the finish area, including a historical Vasaloppet exhibition and an activity park with trampolines for children.

An exciting new addition this summer is the Vasaloppet Business Forum, featuring a lecture by neuroscientist Katarina Gospic, a panel debate, and corporate networking at Mora Hotel on Friday, August 18.

”Of course, there will also be after-bike and after-run events with music and entertainment in the finish area. There will be a Nordic battle in the Cykelvasasprinten sprint race and record attempts on a ski machine in Sälen. As usual, we will arrange Barnens Vasalopp children’s races in both cycling and running, held in Sälen as well as Mora. We hope that as many people as possible take the opportunity to come here and participate in our activities,” says Camilla Sandy Swarén.

Take on the First Slope, Vasaloppet Start Area

11.00-13.00 Take this opportunity to test the first slope on your bike before your race. Volunteers will cheer you on from the base of the slope to the highest point, where you will be offered refreshments after completing the challenge.
